My Statement in American, English and Spanish

Bio••• 🇬🇧
My passion for art was born thanks to my early proximity to a great artist, Mario Giovanetti (material/abstract artist). Recognising in me a great curiosity about his works and his work, he had the splendid idea of giving me all the material necessary to create, saying to me: “Now that you have the tools, create something”. This sentence became my only goal. Life, inexorably passing by, led me away from this great ambition and passion of mine. But art is a part of my being and like all parts of the SOUL, even if kept in a “cage”, at a certain point it exploded in me again and started to produce works without being able to stop it. Since 2017, work after work, my creativity has regained control of my being. My first participations in group exhibitions started in 2019. Like everything in life, it required sacrifice, commitment and hard work. The strength I gained from exhibiting my works allowed me to continue on the path I had hoped for since childhood. In 2020, the first event on the national scene, together with the “Amedeo Modigliani Foundation”, with the collective exhibition in the splendid setting of the “Palazzo Zeffirelli” in Florence. This experience gave me the opportunity to be noticed on an international level. Shortly afterwards I was contacted by the Van Der Plass Gallery in New York City. This great opportunity given to me by destiny made my art interesting even in my country of origin. My first solo exhibition was a success, not only for the possibility of showing my work to a wider audience, but above all for the first satisfaction given by the first sales. The climb became easier and from that moment on, exhibitions, catalogues, recognition, criticism and satisfaction followed one another, making me what I am now; the artist still looking for new challenges, new skills and techniques to learn and experiment.
Without ever taking anything for granted, especially not my own path. “Like waves they make their way, inch by inch, with patient audacity”

Bio••• 🇪🇦

Artist Statement ••• 🇬🇧
The correct term for my art is “SUBJECTIVE”. It can be unsettling, intimate, romantic, but sometimes disturbing for its subjects or for the messages it tries to convey. I often let my subconscious give life to the works, as if it were my hands, the lines and colours that created them. I try to express the constant search for my introspective “I”. I use mixed techniques, between material, abstract surrealist and figurative, I try to make the work sensual, thanks to the material textures, allowing the observer a sense of visual touch. In this way reality enters the painting and gives it substance.
